PAST PRESIDENTS
ABECN would not be ABECN without the leadership of our president’s. They lead the team of Board of Directors and help steer the direction of the society. Our past presidents applied their dedication to the Building Science community, and to furthering ABECN’s resolve to advancing the Building Envelope industry.

When Julien was appointed the role of President of ABECN in 2022 his goal was to build upon the momentum of his predecessor. He felt that there was great appetite for our industry to connect with one another, from envelope consultants, architects, contractors, glaziers, owners’ representatives, product suppliers, technical representatives and others: he want this council to offer great opportunities for our members to connect, learn and share experience from across our industry. Julien, as president, drove ABECN to have new and exciting initiatives.

In 2019 Amir took the initiative and resurrected ABECN. He understood the need to have a place where building enclosure education and the pursuit of building science excellence would have a home to grow. Amir laid the foundation for ABECN as we know it today.
